Working Hours

We understand that every family’s schedule is different, which is why Smilestones offers flexible hours across all of our centres.


  • Burnaby: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (Early drop-off 7:30 am)
  • South Surrey: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (Early drop-off 8:00 am)
  • Langley: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm (Late pickup available until 6:00 pm)
  • North Surrey: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (Early drop-off 7:45 am)


Families may choose from 2-day, 3-day, or 5-day full-day programs, with half-day preschool options available at select locations.

  • Features: multiple classrooms, art studio, large indoor play area, natural outdoor playground.
  • Conveniently located near Deer Lake, Highway 1, and Burnaby City Hall.
  • Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (Early drop-off 7:30 am).
  • Programs: Baby, Toddler, JK3, JK4 (Full Day; 2, 3, or 5 days/week).

Langley Smilestones

  • Opened in 2014; state-of-the-art facility in Willoughby/Walnut Grove.
  • Features: 7 classrooms, 2 outdoor playgrounds, large indoor play space, and a dedicated Atelier.
  • Walking distance to Carvolth Park & Ride.
  • Hours: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm (Late pickup available until 6:00 pm).
  • Programs: Baby, Toddler, JK3, JK4 (Full Day; 2, 3, or 5 days/week).

North Surrey Smilestones

  • Opened in 2014; serving Guildford, Fleetwood, Surrey Central, and Fraser Heights.
  • Features: 6 classrooms, art studio, indoor play area, natural playground.
  • Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (Early drop-off 7:45 am).
  • Programs:
  • Baby, Toddler, JK3, JK4 (Full Day; 2, 3, or 5 days/week), 
  • Preschool half-day program (4 hrs).

South Surrey Smilestones

  • Opened in 2012; known for excellence in Crescent Beach, Elgin, Grandview, Morgan Crossing, and White Rock.
  • Features: 4 classrooms, indoor play area, art space, and a forest playground.
  • Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (Early drop-off 8:00 am).
  • Programs: Baby, Toddler, JK3, JK4 (Full Day; 2, 3, or 5 days/week).
